Asakusa Kimono Location Photography: Choosing a Solo or Group Package

A practical guide to image counts, routes, rain plans and the 6 PM return.

Asakusa Kimono Location Photography: Choosing a Solo or Group Package

How this differs from casual phone photos

This package combines kimono dressing with a professional outdoor session in Asakusa. Official options are 50 or 120 images for one guest, and 100 or 200 images for two to four guests. Choose by the number of people and the variety of scenes you want, not simply the largest file count.

Included and excluded

The selected kimono, dressing, basic accessories, the chosen outdoor session and its photo data are included. Unselected hair options, a 30-minute extension, transport or admission fees, and separately purchased originals or extra retouching are excluded. Photo data is described as being provided by data card; confirm delivery timing and retouching scope in the final message.

Choosing a route

A Senso-ji-area route favors Kaminarimon, traditional lanes and temple architecture. A Senso-ji plus Sumida Park route adds open river scenery and a Skytree-facing background. The actual meeting point and route are finalized after booking, so request a mood rather than treating a particular landmark as guaranteed.

Prepare before the day

  • State the group composition and preferred visual mood.
  • Groups of five or more require separate consultation.
  • Only available shooting times appear as slots; a request is not final confirmation.
  • Confirm rain, rescheduling and cancellation handling in advance.

Arrive with minimal luggage and enough time to get comfortable walking in the footwear. Rentals still need to be returned to the same HANAKA store by 18:00. The partner’s confirmation message is the final reference for start time, location, delivery method and total price.

Rain decision order

  1. Ask whether the photographer and session will operate.
  2. Check for a covered alternative background.
  3. Confirm garment, slipping and rescheduling rules.
  4. If proceeding, use a transparent umbrella and compact waterproof bag.

Use the confirmation message as the final source for delivery timing, retouching and data-card handling.
