About your bike

This is a rental service for the Suzuki Gladius 650 (large class, naked, manual transmission). The fee is calculated based on the pick-up and return dates, and you can pick up and return the motorcycle at 96 popular locations in front of train stations. It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can be used without face-to-face interaction (key box). After your reservation, our partner will confirm that the vehicle is ready before your reservation is confirmed.

Collecting your bike

Use the parking space and key box specified in your confirmed booking instructions. Check those instructions for the pickup location and access code.

Returning your bike

Fill the tank at a petrol station within 5 km of the return point, then park in the designated space. Put the key back in the key box and submit the partner's return form with a photo. Report any damage.

Third-party bodily injury and property damage insurance is included. Cover for damage to the rental bike is a separate paid option. Check the scope and conditions when booking.

Tip-over support

On eligible bikes, minor cosmetic scratches may be repaired instead of replacing parts. Repairs cost ¥2,000–¥6,000 per area before tax. BestBike determines eligibility; cracks, bent parts and major damage may not qualify.

Pricing is based on the pickup and return dates: same-day or next-day return is the base fare, each further day adds the extra-day fare, and 1-week / 1-month packages are flat rates.

If you exceed the mileage allowance, a long-distance option is charged afterwards.

One-way return to a different station is available. The fee is charged per km of distance from the pickup station to the return station, at the rate shown for the "One-way drop-off fee (per km)" option. After your booking is confirmed, the partner will confirm the return station and distance (km); then purchase the option for that number of km.

FAQs

You need a licence that is valid in Japan for the bike's class (a moped licence or higher for 50cc mopeds). For foreign licences, the required documents differ by country or region. Before booking, send photos of your driving licence and International Driving Permit to the partner (BestBike) to confirm that you can ride.

The calculation is based on the pickup date and return date. A basic fee applies if the pickup and return dates are the same or only one day apart. Additional charges apply for each additional day thereafter. A flat rate applies for one week and one month.

You can pick up and return your vehicle 24 hours a day at the key box located in the parking lot in front of the station. We will inform you of the key box's PIN code after your reservation is confirmed.

Cancellation fees apply as follows: 1,500 yen up to 72 hours before pickup, 50% between 72 and 48 hours before, and 100% after 48 hours before.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The cancellation policy below is the partner's policy and takes precedence over LOCARORA's policy.

Cancellation fees apply up to 72 hours before pickup: 1,500 yen / 72 to 48 hours before pickup: 50% of the fee / 48 hours or less before pickup: 100% of the fee. In principle, no refunds will be given for cancellations due to weather or other reasons.
